Margaret, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

Meg, also known as Margaret, is the eldest member of the Poe Sisters. She is named after Margaret "Meg" March from the novel Little Women.

History

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Meg is purple-clothed and is the final Poe sister encountered in the Forest Temple. She attacks much differently from her sisters and is treated as a miniboss. Once Link has defeated the other sisters, Meg can be found in the middle of the temple's main room, crying on the floor. When Link approaches, she creates three duplicates and surrounds him with them. The real Meg can be told apart by her twirling shortly after appearing, and can be attacked with an arrow, the Hookshot, or a sword strike. If he hits the wrong one, the copy will disappear and the real Meg will attack; the same occurs if Link "cheats" with a Spin Attack or Din's Fire to attack all at once, the same occurs. After enough damage is dealt to Meg, she is defeated and the temple's purple flame is restored making the elevator to the basement functional again.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Meg is the final of the Poe Sisters fought in the Ghost Hut in Ikana Canyon. She acts exactly the same as in Ocarina of Time.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, Margaret carries a lantern and is encountered early in the Explorer's Crypt. She has cursed a room midway through the dungeon, causing the lights to slowly go out and warp Link back to the dungeon's entrance when it reaches full darkness. To break the curse, Link needs to use Ember Seeds to light four torches near her tombstone, found in a room near to the one she cursed. When the curse is lifted, she appears and attacks Link by teleporting around the room and moving in circular patterns while dropping flames from her lantern. Upon defeat, she promises revenge. She and Amy later challenge him together as the dungeon's miniboss. She uses the same tactics as before, but sometimes stops to blow out a torch. If all four torches are blown out, Link gets sent back to the entrance.
