Pages 22 and 127.</ref> are a type of Moblin first found in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening]]''. They are essentially an analog to the Moblins of ''[[The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past]]'', since the normal Moblins of ''Link's Awakening'' used the previous bulldog design. Like Moblins in the games they appear, they have both spear-throwing and sword-wielding varieties.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX|Link's Awakening DX]]'', Pig Warriors are tan and shaded blue. Exactly one sword-wielding Pig Warrior was removed, west of [[Goponga Swamp]] at the base of Mt. Tamaranch; in its place is the [[Camera Shop]].

In [[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Nintendo Switch)|the Nintendo Switch remake]], Boarblins now look like the Moblins in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds|A Link Between Worlds]]'' but with open vests, and as such are bright orange, have tusks, and lack pupils. As an additional note, normal Moblins now look like feral pigs themselves.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons]]'', the Pig Warriors now come in red and blue tinted versions, both for sword-wielding and swordless varieties, giving them a total of four variants. They still act the same as Moblins, but are slightly weaker. They are common in the [[Eastern Suburbs]], with one also appearing on the edge of the [[Woods of Winter]] and near [[Eyeglass Lake]]. They also appear in the northwestern portion of [[Mt. Cucco]] and in [[Snake's Remains]]. They work for a giant green one known as the [[Great Moblin]], who has set up a fortress called [[Moblin's Keep]] near the [[Sunken City]] and shoots [[bomb]]s at passerby. When speaking, they tend to make a pig squeal (spelled as "Bwee"). After Link has infiltrated and destroyed Moblin's Keep, the Great Moblin and two Pig Warriors move to a dark house in Sunken City where they try to replenish their destroyed bomb supply. Link can repeatedly use [[Ember Seed]]s to destroy the bombs and the house, forcing them to flee and start over, though after a few times the Pig Warriors will throw Link back inside before they explode, giving a [[Game Over]].

 

In a [[Link System|linked game]] stemming from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages|Oracle of Ages]]'', a friendly Pig Warrior tells Link the [[Tokay Secret]]. Additionally, another scene with the Great Moblin occurs after [[Poison Moth's Lair]], where he and four Pig Warriors harass [[Princess Zelda]] in [[North Horon]], leading to a miniboss battle against the minions.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages]]'', Pig Warriors again work for the Great Moblin in the present of [[Rolling Ridge]], while others, mostly with swords, can be found in the southern half of [[Talus Peaks]], with red ones being in the present and blue in the past. They can also be found in the [[Wing Dungeon]] and the [[Black Tower]]. Aside from these, a pair of them were sent to kill the young [[Maku Tree (female)|Maku Tree]] sprout in the past to prevent her from helping Link in the present, though him saving her prompted her to fall in love with him; this encounter plays the "disaster" music, but also plays the bell sound used to signify overworld minibosses. During the battle against the Great Moblin, two orange ones throw bombs from up above.
