In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Arrghus is the boss of the Water Temple, the fourth area of Riverside. It is a tall, lavender jellyfish that glows cyan, and initially floats over a large pool of water in the center of the room. Its Arrgi are depicted as eyes with slit pupils. Several Arrgi circle around its base and shoot at a Link when they see him. They can also be pulled off with the Gripshot. They can be destroyed with two sword slashes, and if they aren't, they fall in the water and circle back to Arrghus, but can be halted with the Water Rod. After all the Arrgi are destroyed, the water drains, leaving a basin with Arrghus lowers into, and gains a new ring of Arrgi. The Links must destroy all the Arrgi again, and it will start to fly around the basin charging up a laser from its eye. Link must then hit its eye with the Gripshot, knocking Arrghus unconscious and causing it to stop glowing. From here, it can be repeatedly slashed with the sword, but it will eventually wake up. After repeating this sufficiently, it will be defeated. It is the first boss in the game to have a purple Rupee in the stash of Rupees it releases.

Later, in the Fortress, the final of The Lady's Pets acts as an altered version of Arrghus.
