In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time]]'', Biris are only found in [[Jabu-Jabu's Belly|inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly]], where they are parasites of [[Lord Jabu-Jabu]]. In this appearance, Biris far outnumber Baris, which split into three Baris upon defeat. Biris are usually found free-floating in the air and are constantly electrified, and as such can be fought most effectively with the [[Boomerang]]. Before it is obtained, they can instead be defeated with a [[Spin Attack]], [[bomb]]s, [[Ruto]], or by first stunning one with a [[Deku Nut]], causing it to fall and lose its charge temporarily.

They only appear in caves and dungeons and move diagonally in diamond-shaped patterns to the beat of the music, reversing their path when they collide with something. As usual, they additionally charge with electricity periodically, alternating every four beats.
