'''Din, Oracle of Seasons''' is a dancer and the eponymous character of ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons]]''. She has power over the stability of the yearly seasons and their effect on nature, and is associated with the [[Temple of Seasons]], [[Season Spirits]], and [[Rod of Seasons]]. Din has deeply tan skin and red hair, causing her to resemble a [[Gerudo]], though it is never stated if she is indeed one. Her name comes from [[Din|the goddess]] associated with the [[Triforce of Power]].

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons]]'', Din travels with an alleged [[troupe of performers]] in [[Holodrum]], and is very popular with Holodrum's people for her dancing skill. The troupe members are actually incognito [[Hylian Knight]]s who are escorting her to [[Hyrule]] by order of [[Princess Zelda]], who foresaw tragedy befalling Din and hopes to bring her to safety. When [[Link]] is first warped to Holodrum by the [[Triforce]], he lands unconscious in [[North Horon]], where Din finds him and nurses him back to health. When he awakes, she persuades him to dance with her, then notices the Triforce marking on the back of his hand. Before they can continue, however, the troupe's camp is destroyed by a [[cyclone|tornado]] created by [[Onox]], General of Darkness, who uses it to kidnap Din and take her to [[Onox's Castle|his castle]] on the [[Northern Peak]]. He then imprisons her in a giant [[Crystal Cocoon|crystal]] and banishes the Temple of Seasons to [[Subrosia]], causing Holodrum's seasons to fluctuate wildly, throwing the natural order off-balance.

Din in her crystal is used as a shield by Onox during the second stage of his first boss fight. Attacking the crystal with a [[sword]] delivers a painful electric shock to Link, but the Rod of Seasons can be used to send it away harmlessly for a short period. Once Onox is defeated in his true, draconic form, Din's crystal descends from the ceiling, allowing Link to free her. After this, she uses her power to set the seasons back to normal and returns to dancing in [[Horon Village]].

In a linked game for either ''Oracle of Seasons'' or ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages|Oracle of Ages]]'', Din and [[Nayru (oracle)|Nayru]] appear together to open a warp to the [[Room of Rites]] after Zelda s kidnapped by [[Twinrova]], then congratulate them upon escaping. In the linked credits, she can be seen dancing with an audience of several humans, animals, and a hiding red [[Goron]].

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap]]'', Din is a minor character along with Nayru and [[Farore (oracle)|Farore]]. All three of them want to move in to [[Hyrule Castle Town|Hyrule Town]], but since [[Gorman]] only ends up selling two houses, only two of the three can end up with a home there. If Link offers Din one of the houses, she will provide him an [[Din's Charm|attack-boosting charm]] when he asks.
