The '''Giant Eye Plant''' | The '''Giant Eye Plant''' is a miniboss in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass]]'', and the first to be encountered at sea. It is found in the [[Southwestern Sea]] near [[Molida Island]] after recovering the [[Sun Key]], and in fact is the only [[Eye Plant]] encountered in that region. Unlike the smaller Eye Plants, it has a magenta muzzle and purple lips. It is also capable of hiding its eye, which is its weak spot, using a flap that resembles a "jaw" on a {{wp|venus flytrap}}. Like other Eye Plants, it spits out green spiky balls to attack. It spits three spike balls with its eye shut before opening it, allowing [[Link]] to shoot it with the [[cannon]]. After five hits, it is defeated, and vanishes in a bright light and some puffs of purple smoke. | ||
