'''Golden Chief Cylos''' is a large golden [[frog]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass]]''. He has a black, curled mustache, a pair of long, turquoise antennae, a prominent navel, and a toothy grin. He is the leader of the golden frogs found throughout the see, to whom he refers to as his "gilt minions." He is capable of traveling via [[cyclone]], and grants [[Link]] the ability to do so as well, thus making him a less antagonistic analogue to the similarly named [[Cyclos]] from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker]]''.

Cylos resides on the [[Uncharted Island]], having been provided it by [[Oshus]] as a hideaway. In order to reach him, Link must solve a riddle pertaining to the island's whale-like shape. Once Link gains his audience, he recognizes the [[Phantom Hourglass]], and realizes he must be a friend of Oshus. He then gives him the [[Cyclone Slate]] as a gift to help him move around the sea swiftly. [[Ciel]] thanks him and refers to him as "Golden Majesty," though Cylos corrects her to the proper "Golden Chief."

*Depending on how far along in the game the player is when they meet him, Cylos's dialogue varies; if he is found before recovering the petrified [[Tetra]], the [[Ghost Ship]] is mentioned and Cylos solely refers to his friend as Oshus, while if he is found afterward, [[Bellum]] is instead mentioned and both Oshus and the [[Ocean King]] are referred to. Additionally, Cylos's only mentions Oshus finding him a safe haven before finding Tetra, with speaking to him after that resulting in the more vague "took good care of me."
