In The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, a Gyorg Pair is the boss of the Palace of Winds. They are depicted as being giant, multiple-eyed manta rays capable of flight. The larger female is red and has eight eyes at the front of her body, and the smaller male is blue and has four eyes, with each being on a different corner of his body. Link must alternate between riding on the back of each and attacking their eyes, with them shooting projectiles at him and attacking with their long, clubbed tails. Green baby Gyorgs fly across the screen in large arrays as well, seemingly spawned from the female's mouth, but are quite weak.
