Kalle Demos is a giant, parasitic flower monster and the boss of the Forbidden Woods in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. It captured Makar after he fell into the woods, so Link must defeat it to rescue him.

When Link first enters, the player will see Makar jumping in the center of a giant flower. When he approaches, however, a vaguely Deku Baba-like head appears from the middle and eats Makar, followed by several large Dexivines lifting the flower up to the ceiling. With the flower now closed as a giant, impenetrable bud, Kalle Demos attacks Link by slamming its electrified tentacles at him if he stands still for too long, or sticking several underground and quickly slicing with them all at once. To render the boss vulnerable again, Link must use his boomerang on the large array of Dexivines carrying it. Due to the amount and how they are positioned, Link needs to throw from various sides of it to successfully cut them all. If he takes too much time, they can grow back. Once all are cut, the flower falls down and opens back up, allowing Link to attack the head. After a few moments, the flower will shake and close back up again. If Link is inside when this happens, it will chew on him before spitting him back out. Then, the Dexivines will grow back and pull the boss back up to the ceiling. The process must be repeated until the head has taken enough damage, at which point it will explode and relinquish Makar. Later, the boss returns in a monochrome battle in Ganon's Castle.

Link can instantly defeat Kalle Demos if he pours Forest Water on its head.
