It can be found inside a [[Treasure Chest]] in [[Link's House]], although if Link not collect the Lamp from the chest in his house, it can be found inside [[Hyrule Castle]], either in the castle's secret entrance or in [[Princess Zelda]]'s cell. Zelda does not allow Link to enter the [[Secret Passage]] without the Lamp.

The Lamp is powered by the [[Magic Meter]] when used to light torches, although it automatically lights up in dark areas without using any magic.
