Lorule Soldiersref needed are the former guards of Lorule's royal family in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, being a counterpart to both Hyrule Soldiers and the enemy Soldiers created by Yuga. By the time Link comes to Lorule, they have abandoned their original duty to worship the Gemesaur King at the Dark Palace, guarding the maze around its exterior. They each wear a variously colored Helmasaur-like mask which projects a red area of striped light in front of them, representing their field of vision. If Link is spotted, he is imprisoned, but can escape via wall merging. Lorule Soldiers have various behaviors, with some holding absolutely still, others moving their heads around, and others walking in various patterns at different speeds. None of them notice Link when he is on a wall, which must be taken advantage of in certain intervals. Once the Gemesaur King is defeated, the Lorule Soldiers disappear from the area.

At Lorule Castle, armored Lorule Soldiers with weapons appear as standard enemies. It is not made clear if these relate to the ones around the Dark Palace or if they are artificial constructs like the normal enemy soldiers. Princess Hilda refers to them as being Yuga's minions, suggesting the latter.
