'''Ordon Village''' is a rural village in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess]]'' that is part of the [[Ordona Province]] and is located in the southernmost part of [[Hyrule]]. It is the hometown of [[Link]] and the place where he starts his adventure. Ordon Village is also the setting of a few stages in a spinoff title, ''[[Link's Crossbow Training]]''.

Ordon Village is located in light forest area. It is largely agricultural, and a lot of [[Ordon Pumpkin]]s grow there. Ordon Village consists mostly of houses, although it also has a store, [[Sera's Sundries]]. Just outside the village, Fado manages a goat pasture, [[Ordon Ranch]]. [[Link's house]] is located outside of the main village. There is a house with a waterwheel, and it is inhabited by Jaggle and Pergie and their two kids, Malo and Talo. Uli and Rusl live by the big tree with their young son, Colin.

Most of the inhabitants wear a similar type of outfit, with a white, sleeveless shirt, a large colored cloth around the waist tied with a belt, a skirt or pants, and sandals. They generally have a large amount of respect for the hardworking Link.

At the start of ''The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess'', after herding the [[Ordon Goat|goat]]s at Ordon Ranch, Link must help the townsfolk of Ordon Village with a few tasks. This includes knocking down a [[beehive]], retrieving Uli's cradle from a [[monkey]], and returning Sera's cat. When Link returns Sera's cat, he can buy the [[Slingshot]] from Sera's Sundries for 30 [[rupee]]s. Rusl also repairs Link's [[Wooden Sword]] and gives it to him. The children of Ordon Village ask Link to teach them a few sword techniques, especially to deal with the monkeys from [[Faron Woods]] that have recently shown up around Ordon Village. [[Talo]] even borrows the Wooden Sword from Link to chase a monkey out of Ordon Village.

Ordon Village is later invaded by [[King Bulblin]] and the [[Bulblin]]s, who kidnap [[Ilia]] and the other children. Link leaves Ordon Village, starting his journey to rescue the children.

The next time Link visits Ordon Village is as a [[Wolf Link|wolf]]. The denziens, such as Rusl, are afraid of Link and act hostile toward him, unaware that he is a wolf. The animals are unafraid of Link, who can talk to them as a wolf. [[Midna]] tasks Link with finding a [[Ordon Sword|sword]] and [[Ordon Shield|shield]] for her to carry, although she later decides to reserve them for Link.

Later during his adventure, Link (as a human) returns to Ordon Village and visits [[Mayor Bo]]. Link wins a sumo wrestling match against Bo and is rewarded the [[Iron Boots]], allowing him to bypass the [[Goron]]s on the path to [[Death Mountain]]. Link also finds that Rusl has recovered from his injuries and has gone to find the children. After obtaining the Iron Boots, Link is not required to visit Ordon Village again during his adventure.

In the end credits, the children and Ilia, who took refuge in [[Kakariko Village]] earlier, return to Ordon Village.

*Blue Rupee: Located under a [[rock]].
*Yellow Rupee: On the rooftop of a building. Link can reach it by summoning a [[hawk]] with [[Hawk Grass]]. Another yellow Rupee is on a hillside and can be reached with help from a [[Cucco]]. 
*Orange Rupee: Located behind Rusl's house, Link must use the [[Gale Boomerang]] to obtain it.

*During ''The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess''{{'}}s development, Ordon Village was named Toaru Village. The word "toaru" is Japanese for "unnamed", so Toaru Village literally translates to "Unnamed Village". The name Toaru Village is even featured in the game's E3 2005 demo.
