'''Subrosians''' are the mysterious inhabitants of [[Subrosia]]. They appear in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons]]'' and occasionally in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages]]''{{'}}s [[Linked Game]]. All Subrosians wear robed hoods concealing their entire bodies save for a pair of giant, glowing, glum-looking eyes. The robes come in various colors, but most wear green. Their artwork also depicts them as quite short, though this is not reflected in their sprites. Subrosians are adapted to the volcanic nature of their homeland and are not only completely immune to [[lava]] burns, they enjoy bathing in and eating it, especially when prepared as [[Lava Soup]]. Additionally, they enjoy performing the [[Subrosian Dance]]. Their culture is fairly removed from those of the [[human]] world, with the shopkeeper at the [[Subrosia Market]] having no idea what to make of many of the human objects he finds and the [[Strange Brothers|pair of brothers]] who are interested in human items are seen as odd by the rest. Additionally the [[Subrosian smith]]s behavior implies a much different standard of good manners. Subrosians are often seen digging for [[Ore Chunk]]s, their culture's currency. A notable Subrosian, and the first one encountered, is [[Rosa]], a female pop star.

In the Linked Game for ''The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages'', Subrosians are found mainly around [[Rolling Ridge Base]] in the past, where many of them have become fans of the local [[Goron Dance]]. Through this, it is revealed that the Subrosian Dance is actually a variation of the Goron Dance these Subrosians brought back home with them. A Subrosian is also briefly seen in [[Lynna Village]] near the end of the game, wondering why the inhabitants seem to lack energy.
