The Wand of Gamelon is kept in the Shrine of Gamelon, where it is guarded and held by the sixth boss, Omfak. Zelda obtains the Wand after defeating him, and learns from Myra in Nokani Forest that it is the only weapon capable of defeating Ganon.

Later, in Reesong Palace, Zelda can defeat Ganon in a single shot by throwing the Wand of Gamelon at him. When used, the Wand wraps and binds Ganon in golden chains before sealing him in the Book of Koridai, the weapon used to defeat Ganon in Link: The Faces of Evil.
