The '''Fairy Ocarina''' is a brown ocarina and an item that appears in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time]]'' and its [[Nintendo 3DS]] remake, ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D]]''. [[Saria]] gives this item as a gift to [[Link]] when he first leaves [[Kokiri Forest]], as a reminder of her. The Fairy Ocarina is eventually replaced by the [[Ocarina of Time (item)|Ocarina of Time]] after Link obtains the three [[Spiritual Stone]]s; he witnesses [[Princess Zelda]] and [[Impa]] fleeing from [[Ganondorf]], and Zelda throws the Ocarina of Time into a moat.

The Fairy Ocarina functions the same as the Ocarina of Time, except that it does not have mystical powers or the ability to teleport Link between locations. The Fairy Ocarina is only used during a brief part of Link's adventure. He can only play a few songs on it, including [[Zelda's Lullaby]] and [[Saria's Song]].
