- Boo Buddies are misspelled Boo Buddles on the 99th page of the Nintendo Player's Guide.
- Boo Buddies can be defeated from the Magic Rod in the dark, although this cannot occur during normal gameplay because Link only does not obtain the Magic Rod until later in the game.
