If one hits Link anywhere but his [[shield]], he will be frozen, but the Ice Keese's chilliness will vanish. In a few rooms, they can use the braziers of [[Blue Fire]] to restore their coldness. Like other Keese, they can be easily defeated with [[arrow]]s.

If frozen, the player must free Link by rapidly rubbing the stylus horizontally across the screen.
