Unlike Fire Keese, their bodies are roughly the same color as those of normal Keese, though have a slightly less green tint. If one hits Link anywhere but his [[shield]], he will be frozen, but the Ice Keese's chilliness will vanish. In a few rooms, they can use the braziers of [[Blue Fire]] to restore their coldness. Like other [[Keese]], they can be easily defeated with [[arrow]]s.

If frozen, the player must free Link by rapidly rubbing the stylus horizontally across the screen.
