'''Tanks''' are enemy vehicles in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks]]'', acting as a terrestrial counterpart to [[Warship|Cannon Boat]]s. Compared to Cannon Boats, they move faster but with less traction. Additionally, they spawn further away from the [[Spirit Train]]. Like Cannon Boats, their pursuit is accompanied by the music used for [[Jolene]]'s pursuit in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass]]''. They start appearing in the [[Forest Realm]] and [[Snow Realm]] once [[Link]] acquires the [[Freight Car]] from [[Goron Village]], and typically appear in groups of two or three. Their presence in these two realms can be foretold by the [[Dark Train]]s and [[Armored Train]]s not being on the map, as they only appear mutually exclusively. Once the [[Fire Temple (The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks)|Fire Temple]] is completed, they begin appearing on the mountain in the [[Fire Realm]] as well. If a tank hits the train head-on, both vehicles will abruptly stop unharmed. When Link has a [[passenger]] after the [[Pirate's Hideout]] is cleared, they are sometimes accompanied by a larger [[Pirate Tank]].
