Ravio

Ravio is an NPC character in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. He is usually seen in a purple cloak, striped scarf and purple helmet that resembles a rabbit. He first appears in Link's house after his encounter with Yuga. He admits he is a coward and hates any kind of confrontation, and was squatting in the house before bringing an unconscious Link inside. After learning that the house belongs to Link, he begs to stay. After leaving and re-entering the house, Ravio stations a shop in the building that contains many important items and weapons. The items must first be rented, which is indicated by small purple bunny ears on the item. Afterwards, they can be bought for a higher price.

During the final boss, Ravio appears again to stop the fight, but trips and drops his helmet. His face is revealed to look exactly like Link, but with paler skin and black hair. Ravio was the hero of Lorule, but could not perform his duties due to his cowardly nature. He fled the realm and made a new identity out of shame. After the many encounters with Link, he learns how to be a true hero and vows to due better for his realm.
