Link using Triforce Slash on
Princess Zelda in
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Triforce Slash is the Final Smash of Link and Toon Link in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and the Final Smash of Toon Link and Young Link in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, while Link received a new Final Smash, Ancient Bow and Arrow. When Triforce Slash is activated, Link, Toon Link, or Young Link's Triforce of Courage on their hand glows and they fire a beam of light directly in front of them. If an opponent is in the line of fire, they get trapped between two Triforces as either Link, Toon Link, or Young Link rushes forward to deliver several sword blows. After fifteen slashes, they rush through the trapped opponent, launching them.
The range the initial beam of light is fired at is dependent on the character; Link's range is almost the length of Final Destination, though Toon Link's is less than half of that. Toon Link's attacks and knockback are also weaker than Link's, though Toon Link's final slash has a greater reach. Additionally, while the Triforces can only trap one opponent, other nearby opponents can take damage by coming into contact with the sword slashes or the Triforces themselves. If the beam of light does not reach an opponent, the attack will fail.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, both Link and Toon Link each have a trophy of them using the Triforce Slash. In the latter game, Link's and Toon Link's Triforce Slash trophy can each be unlocked by having the respective character clear All-Star.

Wii Super Smash Bros. Brawl
|
Link with a Smash Ball, releasing his ultimate attack. Light flares from the Triforce symbol on the back of his hand and rushes out to meet the enemy he faces. The enemy gets trapped within the glittering Triforce, is quickly cut to shreds, and is launched by the last strike. The attack works on one enemy at a time, so it's best to go after the character in first place.

Toon Link's Final Smash. Hit an enemy with the light emanating from the Triforce mark on his hand to initiate the move. The enemy will be trapped within the Triforce and be unable to move--Toon Link will then rush in close and carve up his foe at lightning speed. The final blow will break the Triforce prison and send the opponent off the screen.

91: Final Smashes 2

Link makes use of the Triforce of Courage to trap foes, and then he launches a 16-blow combo. The final mighty blow has the power to launch opponents off the stage. When Link prepares the attack, the ray of light he emits must strike a rival, or the attack will fail. Shielding will do nothing to stop this powerful attack. Link traps a foe in mid-air with the power of the Triforce of Courage, then he delivers a 16-strike sword combo. The final strike has formidable launching power. If the ray of light at the start of the attack doesn't hit, the whole thing ends there. Helpfully, though, the ray of light's range and speed are incredible, and shields won't block it.

For Toon Link's Final Smash, a ray of light emanates from his hand, and whomever the light touches gets trapped in the Triforce. While they're defenseless, Toon Link strikes at foes repeatedly and then launches them a great distance. Just be sure to time the Final Smash well-if the ray of light doesn't touch anyone, nothing happens. At all.
