Bloobers[1] are squid enemies that appear in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and its Game Boy Color port, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. They are from the Mario franchise and have the same characteristics as in the Super Mario series titles.
Bloobers only appear in the underwater passages of Catfish's Maw. Bloobers move after Link in a zigzag pattern and attempt to hit into him. Link can use any weapon, such as his sword, to instantly defeat a Bloober.
