The Megaton Hammer is an item that appears in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It is the treasure of the Fire Temple. According to myth, Darunia's ancestor used it to destroy Volvagia, a dragon who had been eating Gorons.

Link holds the Megaton Hammer with both hands. As a weapon, it has as much offense as the Master Sword, but is slower and heavier. It can be used to depress rusted switches and shatter certain boulders, as well as uncover secret caverns and destroy fake doors. Volvagia can be stunned by hitting it on the head with the Megaton Hammer when it peeks out of a hole, leaving it vulnerable to attack.

In the GameCube version of Soulcalibur II, the Megaton Hammer is a weapon usable by Link, paired with the Hylian Shield. It can be bought in Weapon Master mode for 1200 Gold. It has a short reach but hits hard.

In Hyrule Warriors, the Megaton Hammer is one of the types of Hammers that can be obtained. The Megaton Hammer has an 8-bit equivalent named the 8-Bit Food as of the Majora's Mask Pack, and in Hyrule Warriors Legends and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, it has two upgraded versions named the Megaton Hammer + and Darkfire Hammer.
