The game stars Link and a talking hat named Ezlo, who must save Hyrule and Princess Zelda from the evil wind sorcerer Vaati while taking advantage of portals along the way to shrink to the size of the Minish people. The game is a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, as it revolves around the backstory of Vaati and the creation of the Four Sword.
