Termina is a world parallel to Hyrule and the main setting of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It resembles an ancient city-state, with a governing town in the center and a different region in all four cardinal directions. During the game, Link has three days to save Termina from the moon crashing into it.
According to in-game legend, Termina was created by the Four Giants, which is celebrated by the citizens during every annual Carnival of Time. Unlike Hyrule, Termina is not ruled by a single monarchy. The Terminians are an equivalent race to Hylians. The outer regions are inhabited by other races such as Gorons and Zoras. Like Hyrule, Rupees are also the currency of Termina.
Locations[edit]

- Ikana Canyon - A ruins area belonging to the ancient Ikana society. It is mostly inhabited by undead creatures.
- Snowhead - A tall mountain range located north and the location of the Gorons.
- Southern Swamp - A swampy forest area to the south and inhabited by Deku and ruled by the Deku King.
