Bad Bats are a species of large, aggressive bat found in certain parts of Termina in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. They are similar to Keese, but larger, completely black aside from their glowing red eyes, and typically found outside. They always appear in groups of varying sizes, but fly fairly slow. They appear in small groups amidst the large trees on the south side of Termina Field and the road to Southern Swamp. Later, they appear in the daytime in Ikana Graveyard. The second day here has a particularly large amount of them, bothering Dampe. If Link defeats all of them, Dampe gives him a blue Rupee. A large swarm also appears beneath the Graveyard in the portion accessible on the first night. Defeating them all causes a treasure chest with a purple Rupee to appear. Finally, a swarm of Bad Bats cloaks Gomess during his miniboss battle and must be kept at bay with Light Arrows in order to attack him.
