Lakitus are aerial enemies that appear in the Cloud Tops and the Palace of the Winds in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.
They stay still and attack by throwing thunderbolts at Link. When Link approaches a Lakitu, it hides in its cloud. As a result, Link can only defeat Lakitus from a distance, which includes firing arrows, throwing the boomerang, firing a sword beam, or using the Cane of Pacci. Link can use the Gust Jar to remove a Lakitu's cloud, leaving it open to any attack.
Lakitus originate from the Mario franchise, where they usually appear as enemies, especially in the Super Mario series. There, they wear goggles, attack by throwing Spiny Eggs, and their clouds usually have a smiling face.
