Ordon Ranch is a ranch located to the north of Ordon Village in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is run and owned by Fado, and is where he raises Ordon Goats. Link is employed as a farmhand. Ordon Ranch is also a setting in Link's Crossbow Training.
History[edit]
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess[edit]
At the start of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Fado calls Link to Ordon Ranch to help herd the Ordon Goats into a barn before sundown. The challenge requires Link to ride Epona and chase ten Ordon Goats into the barn. After doing so, Fado puts up some fences around Ordon Ranch, allowing Link to practice fence-jumping with Epona.
Later, just before Link leaves for Hyrule, he can return to Ordon Ranch and try another challenge of herding Ordon Goats. If he herds 20 of them into a barn within the time limit, he is rewarded with a Piece of Heart.
The Postman is later found in the back of the barn, feeding the goats a "messy looking" letter. A hidden Dig Cavern is located in the barn, slightly left of the Postman.
Link's Crossbow Training[edit]
Ordon Ranch is the location for the Ranch Target Practice stage. Here, Link must use his crossbow to defend the Ordon Goats from the Bokoblins.
