Thanks + Wolfos[edit]

Thanks for doing that sorely needed category cleanup. In regards to White Wolfos, the main reasons I wrote them as a single article are that it's pretty much analogous to the red and blue Tektites from OoT (albeit with a very minor size difference, which is fairly common for N64 games), and since it's one of four versions in Cadence of Hyrule, so it'd be lopsided to split it and not Red or Black Wolfos - and doesn't get Frost Talus's excuse of being an element-based variation. And I really don't want to go down the "split every color" rabbit hole, as I consider that one of ZeldaWiki's primary missteps (along with relying on tabber so heavily and that Dark Horse thing). You're welcome! About White Wolfos, to be honest, it's fine as it currently is, I was mostly annoyed with the NioL section (in other words, I think a split could make sense, but it's fine without). But, to respond to your points. The Tektite comparison: I still think the naming difference is notable, plus White Wolfos (apparently? I'm going off the article) appears as a standalone enemy in some games, but fair enough. Cadence of Hyrule: I noticed that, but I think that's a quirk of being a Western-developed game. The rabbit hole: I get that, and I generally agree about the handling of the colors, I just think this makes sense to make an exception for this one. Blinker (talk) 19:47, June 26, 2024 (UTC)
That is true that White Wolfos appear in a few games without "normal" Woflos, but at the same time, Blue Tektites (named as such) are the only ones to appear in Majora's Mask. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:49, June 30, 2024 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't know that. Fair enough, then. Blinker (talk) 21:19, June 30, 2024 (UTC)
