The Magic Armor is an optional item in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. It is a purple jewel that temporarily grants invincibility to Link, by surrounding his body with a purple barrier. The duration depends on how full Link's Magic Meter is. The Magic Armor's design and purpose is similar to Nayru's Love. Link can obtain it by either completing a trading quest for the Shop Guru Statue or winning it at the Windfall Auction.
In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, if Link is hit while wearing the Magic Armor, he loses some Rupees, similar to the Magic Armor of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
