The Nintendo Switch is a Nintendo console released in 2017. It succeeded the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, and is both a home and handheld console. The Nintendo Switch has three modes of play: handheld, TV, and tabletop.
Games
Two The Legend of Zelda titles have been released for the Nintendo Switch. The first, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was available at launch and is an open-world game. The second, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, a remake of the Game Boy game of the same name. The Nintendo Switch also has a spinoff title, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.
There are The Legend of Zelda elements, including playable characters, in the crossover title, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In 2019, a DLC to Super Mario Maker 2, was released, and features a power-up that makes Link a playable character.
