Stone statue
Stone Statues are obstacles in The Legend of Zelda series. They first appear in the series titular game, The Legend of Zelda. They are usually depicted in the shape of an enemy Zora. In their debut appearance, Stone Statues appear in the first and last rooms of every labyrinth for decoration. Some rooms have Stone Statues that spit out fireballs.
In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, the first room of every dungeon has two columns of three Stone Statues, and the columns are respectively left and right of Link. The Stone Statues have an entirely different appearance from The Legend of Zelda, and their eyes always look in the direction of Link. Although this gives the impression that Stone Statues are living, they have no other role in the game.
