Hawk Grass are objects that appear in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Link can use one to whistle a tune that summons a Hawk, similar to how Horse Grass is used to summon Epona. Hawk Grass is shaped like a Hawk during its flight, and it grows in extant locations. When Link picks the plant and blows through it, a Hawk circles around for a moment before landing on Link's arm
Link is rarely required to use Hawk Grass. The first time he uses it is in Ordon Village, where Link is required to use it, so that he can summon a Hawk to retrieve Uli's cradle. The Hawk Grass can be optionally used to retrieve Bee Larvae for Hanch. Hawk Grass can be found in a few other locations, including Death Mountain, Sacred Grove, and Lake Hylia.
Wolf Link can also use Hawk Grass by howling its tune. Its purpose is slightly different for Wolf Link because the Hawk that it summons instead gives him hints about nearby items. If Wolf Link uses the Hawk Grass after scaring away Hanch in Ordon Village, the Hawk appears to apologize for attacking him.
In Lake Hylia, there are two separate instances in which Wolf Link is required to use Hawk Grass; the first time is to summon the Shadow Kargaroc, which allows him to travel through a passage to Zora's Domain, and the second time is to summon a tame Kargaroc to use in Plumm's Balloon Popping Game.
