Louise, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Stalhounds[1] are skeletal dog enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. They burrow up from the ground, often in pairs, in Hyrule Field at night, having a similar role to Stalchildren from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Unlike Stalchildren, however, Stalhounds can and often do burrow up from the path. They slowly pursue Link and attack by jumping and biting at him, but can be defeated with a few hits. Unlike most enemies otherwise exclusive to Hyrule Field, Stalhounds can also be found in the Cave of Ordeals.

A large pack of Stalhounds appears in the latter half of the game, having stolen the Wooden Statue from Louise, who in turn stole it from Dr. Borville. The statue is necessary for retrieving Ilia's memory, so Link must track them down outside Hyrule Castle Town's south gate and fight them.

The White Wolfos in this game act somewhat similar to them, but are more energetic and durable and have more abilities.
