“I hear that somewhere out in the wide world is an arrow that can freeze anything. With an arrow like that you could even freeze that nasty monster in the Forsaken Fortress...for a while, anyway. But then, what would you do with a frozen monster, you say? Good question, fry. Why, I'd say you give that thing a whack and watch it shatter into teeny-tiny pieces!”
Fishman

Star Island is a small island which appears in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and it has the shape of a six-pointed star. Star Island's coordinates for the Great Sea are B1, and it is surrounded by several Bomb Barrels. There is a nearby lookout platform where Link can obtain a Golden Feather.

Star Island has a minor role, and its only real purpose is to obtain two Pieces of Heart. It has a boulder on each of its six sides, with three of them being larger than the other ones. There is a Blue Chuchu on Star Island which is hidden beneath one of the larger boulders, and several Miniblins are hidden under another. One of the larger ones has a hole to a Secret Cave, where Link must defeat Bokoblins, Magtails, and Moblins to receive a Piece of Heart. Rupees and various other items are hidden beneath the other boulders.

A Korok named Oakin is found on Star Island, where it has planted one of the Great Deku Tree's seeds. Link can help him by pouring Forest Water on the tree as part of a sidequest to obtain a Piece of Heart.

In Hyrule Warriors and its reissues, Star Island is one of the keeps in the Forsaken Fortress stage.
