I just came here to say that for consideration, I should at least have interface admin rights so that I can continue configuring the CSS of this wiki -- I'm the only person to have ever edited the CSS of the wiki, otherwise it would look as barebones as Wikipedia. Not only that, it's a niche skill & I have certain ways of going about it. Actually, it should be Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) who decides it, as he is the actual founder but I made the wiki a reality.
Also, let me ask you something else -- what if I was promoted to interface admin on any of the GWN wikis so that I can continue maintaining the CSS (again, ppl know me for doing it in a certain way much like Mario Wiki's & GWN was founded by ppl who love the Mario Wiki format)? Are you going to forcefully demote me? That would make this no different from Fandom, who is notorious for their top-down level management, banning dissent, and so forth. - For the record, I'm fine with RMV still editing the UI. I've taken CSS classes as part of my major, but I'm a little rusty and it's not something that "drives" me so to speak. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 05:00, March 13, 2022 (UTC)
As posted in the statement made by Grifkuba, we will not interfere with the adoption of Results May Vary into staff roles on any of our wikis. His demotion from other wikis were in accordance with an agreement we had with him to remove him from leadership roles. Given the significant number of demotions which occurred, I personally demoted RMV from Triforce Wiki and Wiki of Mana. We had it on good authority that he was considering committing significant acts of vandalism on these and other sites, and so I made that decision as an emergency measure to prevent that. I have personally contacted Doc and Hybris on Discord explaining this.
We do continue to strongly condemn giving RMV any positions of power, but outside of transfer of absolute leadership, we will not stop it. Grifkuba does not own communities, and under normal circumstances, we wouldn't have gone this far. We, however, have some level, legal or simply moral, of responsibility of care for the individuals which use the services we provide. RMV's actions are deplorable, and we believe he is fully willing and capable of abusing any positions of power he may have, in a manner harmful to other people. - I was not going to vandalize -- I was just off the charts furious. I agreed to the demotions, but I wanted to know about maintaining the CSS of the site. Results May Vary (talk) 15:58, March 13, 2022 (UTC)
