Parella are an aquatic species in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, resembling a cross between various marine species including seahorses, jellyfish, hammerhead sharks, coral, and octopodes. Their name seems to be derived from "parasol" and "umbrella," referring to their shape. They inhabit Lake Floria's waterways, where they accompany the dragon Faron. When she floods Faron Woods, several Parella are seen throughout. A single unique Parella appears in the game, Jellyf, who acts as a guide for Link when he first visits Lake Floria.
