“I... I think I finally understand. I understand what my dad meant when he told me I needed to be stronger, like you, Link...He wasn't talking about strength, like lifting stuff. He was talking about being brave...”
Colin

Colin is a young boy who lives in Ordon Village in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. His father is Rusl, and his mother is Uli. Colin is somewhat shy, which he is often teased for, although he regards Link as a role model and admires his courage, wishing that he had it.

History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Colin is first seen being teased by Malo and Talo. When Link appears, they stop teasing him. Colin tells Link that he made him a Fishing Rod. Shortly after Link obtains the Fishing Rod, King Bulblin and Bulblins kidnap Colin and the other children. However, Link later finds them at Kakariko Village, under the care of Renado. Shortly after reuniting with Epona, the Bulblins return to attack the kids again. King Bulblin charges toward Beth, and Colin tries to defend Beth by shoving her out of the way, only to be captured again.

At the Bridge of Eldin, Link defeats King Bulblin and rescues Colin, who has been injured from the kidnapping, so he stays in the Elde Inn during the rest of Link's adventure. There, Luda takes care of Colin, much to his embarrassment, because she does not want to leave him alone.

In the ending credits, Colin is seen wielding a sword and shield, suggesting that he has gained courage during Link's adventure.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Colin is featured as a sticker, which shows his The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess artwork. Using it grants +4 bonus to direct special attacks, and can only be applied to The Legend of Zelda characters, Link, Toon Link, Princess Zelda, and Ganondorf.
