The WarioWare series is a spinoff of the Super Mario series that mainly focuses on microgames, short minigames that the player must complete. Various microgames found in the series are based on classic video game series, including The Legend of Zelda.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![edit]

In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! a microgame titled The Legend of Zelda is based on the game of the same name. The player controls Link, and must make him enter a cave to complete the microgame. A Peahat and a Zora can attack Link on harder difficulties.

WarioWare: Twisted![edit]

In WarioWare: Twisted! another microgame titled The Legend of Zelda appears. It is based on the game of the same name. In the microgame, Link must deflect rocks from Octoroks using his shield.

WarioWare: Touched![edit]

WarioWare: Touched! has two The Legend of Zelda references.

In the 8-Bit Hero microgame, Link's sprite from The Legend of Zelda is used on the second difficulty.

The The Legend of Zelda microgame uses sprites of Link and a Fairy from The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves[edit]

WarioWare: Smooth Moves has three The Legend of Zelda references.

In the Opening Night microgame, Link, using his sprite from The Legend of Zelda, is one of the conductors. One of the songs played on the highest difficulty is the overworld theme from The Legend of Zelda.

A microgame titled The Wind Waker is based on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The player controls Toon Link, who gliding with a Deku Leaf and must land on a platform.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is referenced in the Ocarina of Time microgame. In it, Young Link must pull out the Master Sword and turn into adult Link. On harder difficulties, Link turns into an old man or a Cucco after doing so.

WarioWare: D.I.Y.[edit]

In WarioWare: D.I.Y., the Zelda microgame is based on The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Link must attack three ChuChus with his sword.

WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase[edit]

In WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase, a microgame titled Zelda 2 is based on Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Link must dodge boomerangs thrown by a Goriya.

Exclusive to the Japanese version of WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase is the Mogitate Chinkuru microgame, based on Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. Tingle will automatically start attacking an Eyelid Pig, which the player must point and tap the A button repeatedly to help Tingle defeat it. The microgame was replaced in the international versions by a Kid Icarus one instead.

WarioWare Gold[edit]

WarioWare Gold features the return of the Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker microgames from WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

A new microgame titled Phantom Hourglass is based on The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. In it, Toon Link must throw his boomerang to activate Shock Switches.

WarioWare: Get It Together![edit]

In WarioWare: Get It Together!, a microgame titled The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is based on the game of the same name, where the player must attack a floating object frozen by the Stasis Rune multiple times so that it may be sent flying.
