White Wolfos, again[edit]

So, Echoes of Wisdom has both Wolfos and White Wolfos. The latter, as far as I'm aware, is the only color variant enemy in the game, right? The only one that is named as such, I mean, and not just a "Lv. 2" version. That further supports the idea that White Wolfos is considered a different enemy from regular Wolfos in a way most color variants aren't. Blinker (talk) 11:55, October 9, 2024 (UTC)

Given there's a size difference again, I'll give that a "possibly." Of note, though, the game also separates Moblins and Boarblins by weapon-type without having a "normal" version, so it's still not completely clean in that regard. There's also the Crow relatives, though we would split those anyway since their names are totally different from each other. I'm mainly just nervous about getting Candence's White Wolfos involved since they're treated the same as any other strength-based recolor in that game, though they also lack the size difference there as well. I think the Cadence of Hyrule oddity can be chalked up to the game being developed in the west, a bit like Luigi's Mansion 2's black-eyed "Big Boo" and non-ghost mice and bats. Blinker (talk) 10:46, October 11, 2024 (UTC)
