Tatl is a fairy in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask who serves as Link's companion. Similar to Navi from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Tatl helps Link throughout his adventure, occasionally offering information about Link's next objective or identifying enemies or objects that are targeted. Unlike Navi, Tatl communicates with bell-like sounds rather than voice clips. She can speak to Link if 
is pressed in the Nintendo 64 version, or if her icon on the touch screen is tapped in the Nintendo 3DS version. She has a brother named Tael.
Tatl is initially loyal to Skull Kid, alongside Tael. She and Tael knock Link off of Epona at the beginning of the game. When Skull Kid and Tael leave after Link is turned into a Deku Scrub, Tatl is accidently left behind with Link, forcing her to team up with him to escape. Throughout Link's adventure, Tatl warms up to him, and she disowns Skull Kid after he hits Tael for revealing information about the four Giants to the two.
