Big Babas[1] are large relatives of Deku Babas that appear in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Their body consists of a large, yellow Deku Like bud with seven fangs on top, a long, yellowish stem with thorns, a red head, and six large, red leaves connected to the bud. The large leaves are green near the base.

There are only two Big Babas in the game: one appears in the Forest Temple, guarding a small key, and the other is at the City in the Sky, serving as an obstacle. When Link encounters a Big Baba, it tries to attack by either ramming its head at Link or by slamming it down onto him. If Link is hit by a Big Baba, he takes half of a heart in damage. To attack the Big Baba, Link must dodge its lunge attack and slash his sword at Deku Baba's head several times until its head and stem is defeated. This leaves only the Deku Like, which Link can destroy by throwing a bomb into its mouth, or a Bombling in the Forest Temple (which is before he acquires bombs). Unlike most enemies, Big Babas do not respawn after being defeated.

In the Forest Temple, the Big Baba is found in a room with one of the imprisoned monkeys. It swallows a small key for the monkey's cage, and Link can only recover it by defeating the Big Baba.
