An Ice Bubble is a variant of Bubble capable of freezing Link on contact. They almost always appear in cold climates, and are used as a polar opposite to Fire Bubbles.
History
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Ice Bubbles are introduced in Snowpeak Ruins, and as such are the final type introduced. Like with Fire Bubbles, their element and flight can be removed with the Gale Boomerang, allowing them to be attacked directly.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
In The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Ice Bubbles are introduced intermixed with Ice Keese in the Temple of Ice. They bounce around the room diagonally, and their ice can again be knocked away with a boomerang. Alternatively, arrows or the grappling hook can take them out in one hit.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Ice Bubbles act much like the ones in Phantom Hourglass, but are smaller. They first appear in the Ice Ruins. Their ice can be dissipated with the Tornado Rod, and can also be nullified with the Fire Rod.
