The Red Potion, also known as the Medicine of Life, Red Medicine[1], Heart Potion, or Health Potion, is a health-restoring potion which appears throughout the The Legend of Zelda titles, starting with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It typically requires a bottle to contain it. The amount of hearts it recovers varies depending on the game but was originally full, acting much like a Life Potion.
