Ghinis are one-eyed ghost enemies who first appear in The Legend of Zelda. They have since appeared in other 2D The Legend of Zelda titles. In most of their appearances, Ghinis are hiding beneath a tombstone in a graveyard or cemetery. Sometimes, if Link touches a tombstone, a Ghini comes out and starts flying around the area. Ghinis require many hits to be defeated.
Starting with their second appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Ghinis are always shown sticking their tongue out.
