Molluskas[1] are aggressive enemies in Zelda's Adventure, appearing as a multi-legged creature hiding beneath a rock or shell, similar to a Spiny Beetle. While the name indicates they are mollusks, the legs more closely resemble those of crabs or brittle stars. They appear in the Forest of Torian as well as the Shrine of Illusion within the same forest, quickly scuttling around while making high-pitched cries and attacking Zelda by launching pearls in any direction to hit her. Their attacks do a large amount of damage relative to other enemies in the same areas and they appear in groups of three or more, making them fairly dangerous. The pearls can be blocked from the front with the Magic Shield.
