First appearance Zelda's Adventure (1995)

Dolomites[1] are rock monsters in Zelda's Adventure, appearing in the Forest of Torian, the Great Dry Canyon, the South Gubasha Desert, and the Seacoast Plain. They are similar to the game's Zolas in that they only appear from the torso upwards, are stationary, throw projectiles in a single direction to attack, and take five hits from the wand at the beginning of the game to defeat. Dolomites, however, throw rocks and are never found in water. Their name comes from the mineral or mountain range of the same name.
