The Winged Helmet is an item seen in Link: The Faces of Evil. It is obtained after defeating Militron in his respective Face of Evil. When used, the Winged Helmet makes Link leap a great distance, farther than his normal jump. This allows him to clear large gaps like the one seen in Shipwreck Cliff. The Winged Helmet costs ten Rubies per use.
An item with a similar function, the Magic Cape, appears in Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon.
