The Fire Diamond is a trade item that appears in Link: The Faces of Evil. It is a red diamond found at the bottom of Firestone Lake's volcano, dropped by a stationary Phyrandaii.
After crossing a large gap in Shipwreck Cliff, Link encounters Kulvan, a blacksmith chained to the nearby Gingko Pinnacle. After being freed, he asks Link if he has a Fire Diamond. He does, and Kulvan uses it to turn Link's Power Sword into the Magic Sword.
