Kofu is an Anouki living in Anouki Village in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. He lives in the northeast house, has long horns and a mustache, and wears a blue parka.
When Link first arrives in the village, Link asks Kofu if his house is the village honcho's house, though Kofu unhelpfully retorts by asking why the honcho should speak with him. If Link questions his response, Kofu points out that since there are only six inhabitants, finding the honcho should be easy to find. If Link instead dismisses his response, Kofu tells him that the honcho's house is the one overlooking the rest. Once Link has agreed to help Honcho organize teams for patrol duty, Kofu is eager, but due to his pride about his horns, refuses to work with any other long-horned Anouki. He ends up being paired with Noko.
Once Link has paired up all the Anouki, Kofu tells Link (in pig latin) to give up going through the tunnel leading to the Snow Sanctuary, then asks if he's curious why. Both responses are negative, however, though his reaction varies depending on the tone. If he simply tells him "no," Kofu is taken aback at his ruining the flow of the conversation, and if he says that he doesn't care, he gets annoyed at his "snippy" attitude. Later, he warns Link that even though the Spirit Tracks are returning, there is still danger in the world, so he should not let his guard down.
When Link brings a Goron from Goron Village to Anouki Village, Kofu can be found in Honcho's house, pretending to be him. Kofu allows the Goron to stay in "his" house while he takes a trip to Goron Village, eager both to feel the heat and stop doing guard duty. When Link does so, Kofu rewards him with a Force Gem. He takes up residence in the Goron's old house, happy he no longer has to pay a heating bill.
